I have known Hattie for a long long time. We used to get the school bus together!

Being able to document her family as they grow is such a joy. Her daughter Holly is just a month younger than Eddie and it only feels like yesterday I was taking her newborn photos.

We met at Bedgebury Pinetum and went for a relaxed walk to the quieter area at the back of the Pinetum, which also happens to be where Tom proposed to Hattie back in 2016!

We had the most lovely time, working with toddlers is a lot of just following them and embracing the moments they give you, rather than choreographing the session as I would with older children/babies. As you will know if you have a toddler, it is not possible to simply move them from one area to another if they do not want to go!

Here is Hattie’s feedback from their Storytelling Session. THIS is exactly why I do what I do.

Honestly, as a family we cannot thank you enough for such an amazing experience yesterday and super quick turn around of photos! How you do it is crazy! You’ve really captured what we mean as a family and our crazy daughter 😂 getting photos of her is so hard these days. It’s so lovely to have some of the three of us and of course Bump & Nellie 😊💗 My confidence this pregnancy in my body is 0, and you’ve really helped pick me up from what’s been a bit of an emotional roller-coaster. So honestly from one mum to anther and a friend I cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done!

There is that look of absolute love Tom has in his eyes when he looks at his wife and daughter. It was an absolute pleasure to capture them together!
