It annoys me so much when people start learning photography and the first thing they are taught is the ‘rules’.
This totally kicks the arse out of anyones creative flare!
I have two ‘rules’
1. SHOOT WHAT YOU LOVE
2. IF YOU LIKE IT, KEEP IT
Your style will develop so much faster when you are not worrying about being on the third, if you have kept your ISO below 100 the whole time and if it’s in focus……. obviously these are actually helpful. But don’t focus on it. This will come.
Photography is art, there are no rights and wrongs. Your creative eye is like no one else’s. Don’t copy someone else. Just do you!
